New pressure cushion from Invacare features innovative zip technology
Share
The Propad Revolve are Invacare’s latest pressure relief cushion innovations, specifically designed for static seating application in community and nursing care environments and can be used on both as a wheelchair cushion or chair cushion.
An innovative new water repellent zip is featured on the Propad Revolve cushion. Unlike standard zip covers, the superior Aquaguard withstands an extensive shower test and does not absorb moisture. The zips featured on the Propad Revolve cushions are similar to those used in high end extreme mountaineering jackets and have been rigorously tested in a number of environments.
The cover included with the Aquaguard zip is completely welded on a high frequency welding machine resulting in limited stiches in the fabric which provides an outstanding infection control barrier.
By incorporating the same, proven foam/fluid technology and materials used in the Flo-tech wheelchair cushion range, we are able to introduce a flat wheelchair / armchair cushion with the purpose of providing high-level skin protection, mild positioning and increased comfort to individuals at high risk of skin tissue breakdown.
