This March Invacare will be participating in National Bed Month. The campaign, which has been run by The Sleep Council since 1990, aims to make people aware that a good night’s sleep and a good bed, are vital for your health.
Getting a good night’s sleep has long been identified as one of the most important factors for overall well-being as adequate sleep is proven to improve concentration, promote weight loss, strengthen the immune system, reduce stress and much more. Moreover, for those with long-term health needs, physical limitations and mobility impairments, a suitable bed and mattress is an essential part of daily life.
To help support this campaign, Invacare, one of the world’s largest home care bed manufacturers, will be sharing a variety of informative bed and mattress related content throughout the month, including tips and advice on using specialist beds and pressure reducing mattresses. Amongst the subjects that will be covered are the benefits of four-sectioned profiling beds, tips on how to protect against pressure ulcers and how height-adjustable beds can help when getting in and out of bed.
These informative pieces will be complimented by various product images, several videos direct from the Invacare UK YouTube channel and a series of ‘Did you know?’ facts on the Invacare Safe Patient Handling Twitter feed that will outline the key features and benefits associated with Invacare’s award winning range of beds and pressure area care products.
To ensure that you do not miss out on any of Invacare’s content during National Bed Month, please keep checking www.invacare.co.uk and the Invacare Safe Patient Handling Twitter feed (@InvacareSPH) for updates.
We look forward to celebrating the importance of beds with you during March!
