We are pleased to announce an exciting synergy with wheelchair and occupant securement system manufacturer Q’Straint. Both companies have been working together to ensure Invacare powerchairs are compatible with Q’Straint systems making it easier for WAVs and vehicle conversions to use without any modifications to the chairs.
Now the QLK-150 drive from personal wheelchair docking station is compatible with many of Invacare’s popular powerchairs providing a seamless method for transporting a wheelchair as seat in a vehicle giving peace of mind and promoting independence.
“We are delighted to explore ways of working together to find solutions that greatly assist people using wheelchairs in vehicles. Q’Straint is a world-leader in restraint systems and we are very proud of our association with them.” commented Chris Fowler, Marketing Manager for Mobility, Invacare Ltd.
The QLK-150 offers a vast array of options and features allowing the system to be easily retrofitted to older models of Invacare powerchairs. Q’Straint have been designing and producing innovative wheelchair passenger safety solutions for over 30 years.
Going forward to ensure the new QLK-150 is widely available, kits will be supplied to the vehicle conversion companies as part of the general WAV upgrade.
