Next month London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park will hold one of the biggest sporting events of the year. The world’s best athletes will return to London to compete for the title of World Champion. This includes a selection of Invacare’s sports ambassadors; both Hannah Cockroft and Ben Rowlings are to compete for titles, racing in Invacare’s highly successful Top End sports chairs.

With the championships less than a month away, Hannah is using these last few weeks to make the final preparations in her training. She’s already a World and British Champion in 100m and we’re confident in her ability as a world-class athlete to give an outstanding performance in all her races, which also includes the 400m and the 800m.

Discussing the upcoming World Championships with Invacare, Hannah commented “I'm excited to return to the London Olympic Stadium where this all began for me and hope to add three more shiny medals to my collection as I race for Great Britain in the T34 100m, 400m and 800m. Thanks so much everyone for your support this year, I hope I can do you proud!”

Hannah’s dedication and commitment sets her apart as an athlete and is a great ambassador to work with, inspiring many people throughout the world. Invacare plans to support its ambassadors and offer its employees the opportunity to experience the World Championships at the Olympic park by organising a trip to attend the special event.
