Global wheelchair manufacturer and distributor Invacare and WheelPower, the charity representing British Wheelchair Sport are coming together to support the Superhero Series powered by Marvel. 

The Superhero Tri event which takes place at Dorney Lake, Windsor on 17th August 2024 is a fully accessible sporting challenge comprising of a run/walk, bike and swim.   The only one of its kind in the UK, the Superhero Series will see every day superheroes regardless of their disability participate in a fully inclusive event.  

The fully inclusive ethos is a vision shared by Invacare, through its mission of Making Life’s Experiences Possible and this collaboration with WheelPower, who are at the heart of British Wheelchair Sport, will see the two organisations co-located at the event.  As part of the activities available on the day, WheelPower’s activity specialist Ella Archer, will be demonstrating activities and exercises for wheelchair users. 
Invacare’s welcome area will also be highlighting the type of equipment that offers people with mobility limitations to be as active as possible and express themselves through our Invacare Unique wheelchair personalisation and customisation service.
